Mr. Hornberger is a shareholder in the firm. He was formerly a shareholder in the trust and estate section of the San Antonio law firm of Cox & Smith until 1992.

Mr. Hornberger's practice is devoted primarily to trust and estate planning and trust and estate litigation in Bexar County's two statutory probate courts. Mr. Hornberger's trust and estate planning practice involves drafting of wills and trusts, estate, generation skipping and gift tax planning, asset protection, business planning and choice of entity. Mr. Hornberger's practice in Bexar County's two statutory probate courts involves both contested and uncontested trust and estate matters, including Will and Trust contests, actions to construe and modify wills and trusts, and other disputes arising in the administration of trusts and estates.
Professional Activities
Mr. Hornberger is Board Certified in Taxation and Estate Planning and Probate Law, and has served as President of the San Antonio Estate Planners Counsel. He is a member of the American Academy of Trust and Estate Counsel, as well as the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law. Mr. Hornberger is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the Texas Society and American Society of CPAs. He has served as member of the counsel of the Real Estate, Trust and Probate Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
