Mr. Williams has handled civil lawsuits for 25 years and has practiced with HSFB since 2001. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases, with particular emphasis in the following areas:

• Trusts and Estate litigation, including will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary disputes, and contested guardianship matters
• Oil and Gas litigation, including disputes regarding contracts and title issues.
• Business torts, including breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and trade secrets.
• Real estate litigation, including contract and title disputes, fraud, and negligence.
• Business and partnership disputes, including shareholder disputes, breaches of non-compete agreements, minority oppression, partnership disputes, contracts and fraud.

• Represented majority shareholder of commercial enterprise sued by minority shareholders
• Represent oil and gas company in action against mineral owner to enforce agreement to enter into lease
• Represented and represent corporate trustees in multiple matters concerning alleged breaches of fiduciary duty
• Represented major shopping center developer in suit concerning breach of agreement to sell outparcels
• Represented named executor in defense of will contest
• Represented partner in suit against managing partner alleging breach of fiduciary duty
• Represented injured contractor in suit for personal injuries sustained on contractor’s premises
• Represented injured worker in suit against building owner
• Represented retail company in suit against corporate officer for malfeasance
• Represent minority shareholder in suit against majority shareholders for breach of fiduciary duty and minority oppression
• Represented major oil and gas operator in suit against surface owner for interfering with drilling operations
• Represented employee sued for alleged breach of covenant not to compete
• Represent large medical practice in claim against departing physician for breach of covenant not to compete
• Represented family of worker killed on the job in suit against employer who was non-subscriber to worker’s compensation
